ABOUT ANNA
Anna Novak is a community leader in coal country. She's a political outsider running for the legislature to fight for the families of District 33.
Anna will fight to protect our careers, strengthen local economies, and preserve the clean coal-fired electricity that North Dakota relies on every day. Novak’s father, brother, and husband have built successful careers as coal miners. This has forged in Anna a lifelong connection and deep commitment to coal country and the small communities which rely on the lignite industry.
Now more than ever, Anna is committed to fighting for our livelihoods during this critical time. As a grassroots leader Anna has worked to give voice to the faces of North Dakota coal. Now she's hoping to bring that same conservative voice to the legislature and fight for the backbone of our rural communities.
Anna earned a degree from the University of Mary in 2005 and has leveraged her education in marketing and public relations as a grassroots leader supporting rural communities and the people who live and work in them.
She will stand against government overreach and work to protect North Dakota from politicians in Washington. As the mother to four young sons Anna's lifelong friends and family rely on careers in the coal industry. North Dakota feeds and fuels the world, and Novak knows we must fight to protect our way of life from those who misunderstand us.
An active leader in her faith community, Anna has volunteered as a Sunday school teacher and organizes events to support expecting mothers in crisis. Novak is a Registered Sales Assistant with Choice Wealth in Beulah and she lives in Hazen with her husband Loren. Together they are raising four young sons.
